Welcome to the home page of Stranraer & District Model Flying Club.

Home to the best club flying site in Scotland !

 We fly out of Castle Kennedy Airfield, 3 miles from Stranraer on our 70x10.3mt tarmac runway which is adjacent to the SAA event runway also situated on the airfield.

Our runway is capable of handling the biggest club aircraft including Jets and Large Models with ease after recently being widened.

We welcome new Members and visitors to our club.  If you do intend to pay us a " flying " visit, please contact us in advance to let us know your coming as the exterior Airfield gates are kept locked at all times.

We are currently accepting new members so if you are a beginner and are learning, or are an experienced pilot and want access to the best club runway in Scotland, we would love to hear from you.
